A personal project of mine has been photogrammetry in Meshroom and 3D modeling in Blender. The following are a few examples.
Photogrammetry uses a series of photographs of an object from various angles to generate a 3D model. This is done by finding thousands of feature points which are consistent in multiple images and triangulating those into points in 3D space.
I am learning Blender through modeling interior spaces. Blender is an open source program that is capable of animation as well as physics simulations.
